Bahamas - Black Beard Cay or The Pearl Islands?Black Beard Cay and The Pearl Islands are both cool places to visit. Each area has activities, but one place has more than the other does.There are many great beaches in the Bahamas; two of the most well known beaches are in The Pearl Islands and Black Beard Cay. Choosing the right location for your vacation depends on the activities you are planning to try. Black Beard Cay is the bigger area of the two; however, it does not offer as many fun activities. If you are planning to participate in tons of tours and outdoor events, you should definitely stop by The Pearl Islands. To get to The Pearl Islands, you should book an excursion through Carnival Fantasy. When you get to The Pearl Islands, you will quickly notice how small the beaches are. Because the islands are so small, you can expect to see crowds everywhere on the beaches. During the spring, you will see the biggest crowds and hear the loudest music. If you are planning to relax on a noise-free beach, visit The Pearl Islands after spring break. No matter what time you plan to visit, you will find many cool activities to try.The water activities on these islands are great fun; you can choose from snorkeling, snorkeling with the stingrays, and more. Snorkeling has to be done with a tour guide; you cannot go freestyle snorkeling alone in the ocean. There are cooler water-based activities as well; there is a boat ride and an exciting treasure hunt. The boat ride takes you on a trip across the ocean, and the crew serves everyone rum punch. The treasure hunt is a bit different; everyone rides on a boat, hunts for oysters, and then eats them. The treasure hunt is a nice way to get lunch; however, there are also other ways to fill your stomach. |

In the Bahamas, The
Pearl Island's most popular places to get lunch are the Lighthouse and the
outdoor grill area. The Lighthouse is an indoor spot that serves nice dishes;
the outdoor grill area serves various grilled foods. Your choice will not be
tough because all the food is great. Your decision will be made based on if you
want to eat outdoors or indoors. The only negative thing about the grill area is
that there are no outdoor restrooms; however, you will find some at Black Beard
Cay.
The Bahamas has many big beaches, and Black Beard Cay is one of them. The area is huge, and there is enough room for everyone. The grilling area is nice; however, the activities are a bit limited. The best activity that you can try during your visit is the stingray swim. At Black Beard Cay, the stingrays are kept in a pen in shallow water. The stingray tour is fun; however, there is not much to do after you are done. If you want to relax and eat grilled food, Black Beard Cay is the place for you. When you visit the Bahamas, you should visit either Black Beard Cay or The Pearl Islands. Both places are nice, but The Pearl Islands have many more activities for tourists. You should only visit Black Beard Cay if you want to try limited activities and relax on the beach. Easy access to The Bahamas is one reason for its long-standing popularity as a winter holiday destination. Only a few miles from the south Florida coast, in fact closer than Caribbean destinations, the islands can be reached quickly either by air or by sea. The Bahama Islands temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees F, or rise above 90 degrees F. Most of the rain fall occurs in the summer months. The sea temperature ranges from the low 80's in the summer to about 74 degrees F in the winter Find the best vacation deal, compare prices and read what other travelers have to say at Bahamas Vacation Anguilla Aruba Barbados Bermuda Bonaire Cuba Curacao Dominica Dominican Republic Grenada Guadeloupe Haiti Jamaica Martinique Montserrat Puerto Rico Saba St. Barthelemy St. Eustatius St. Lucia St. Maarten/St. Martin |
