Bahamas - Club Land' Or

Club Land 'Or is an interesting place in the Bahamas due to its unique issues. The issues are not that bad, but some people may consider staying somewhere else during their vacation.

There are many types of clubs in the Bahamas, but none of them are like Club Land' Or. Club Land' Or is unique, and some people may find its uniqueness a bit tough to handle. The Club is definitely not for everyone, so you should consider other places before booking your room there. The good thing about Club Land' Or is that it is close to Atlantis, so anyone staying there will have quick access to many attractions. Even though the club is near Atlantis, guests still have to deal with a few minor issues. If you get a room at Club Land' Or in the Bahamas, you will be closer to Atlantis then most other tourists. The problem is that Club Land' Or's guests are not allowed to use the Atlantis' facilities. Guests are only allowed to use the public area, which consists of casinos, restaurants, and stores. All of this may seem like a good thing; however, some hotels in the Bahamas allow guests to have free access to all of Atlantis' facilities. If you only want to use the casino, eat, and shop, this club may be right for one. If you plan to use the water parks and other attractions, you might want to consider stay at a place that gives you free access to everything. Even if you only want to shop and eat at restaurants, staying at Club Land' Or still may not be right for you. Club Land' Or has more issues dealing with the rooms and the outdoor swimming pool; some issues are easy to ignore and some are not.

Most of the rooms at Club Land' Or have peeling walls, old furnisher, narrow halls, and loud air conditioners. The walls, furnisher, and the halls can be dealt with, but the loud A/C will be a problem. You can just ignore the walls and the halls and buy a comfortable seat cushion for the seats, but the A/C will keep you up at night. Hearing an air conditioner, which sounds like a truck's engine, is not a peaceful way to fall asleep. If you turn it off, you will have to deal with the heat through the night. The only other option will be to use noise-canceling headphones with the A/C, but you will never hear your alarm clock in the morning.

As for the pool, the only problem is that it is extremely small and compact. You can find much bigger swimming pools in most families' backyard, so do not expect this club to throw pool parties. The only good thing about the pool area is that the staff has a grill, and they serve great snacks. Even if they wanted to throw a pool party, it will be somewhat tough because the majority of the guests are old people. Overall, you should pick this club only if you own noise-canceling headphones and want to relax instead of party.

Club Land' Or is a nice place for people over 40 because younger people will not enjoy staying there. Due to the noisy A/C and the small swimming pool, younger people should definitely choose another club during their Bahamas vacation.

Easy access to The Bahamas is one reason for its long-standing popularity as a winter holiday destination. Only a few miles from the south Florida coast, in fact closer than Caribbean destinations, the islands can be reached quickly either by air or by sea.

The Bahama Islands temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees F, or rise above 90 degrees F. Most of the rain fall occurs in the summer months. The sea temperature ranges from the low 80's in the summer to about 74 degrees F in the winter
