A Fun Day in NassauYou can have a fun day in Nassau by shopping the stores and visiting the beaches. Snorkeling; however, may be a problem in Nassau‘s waters, but you can try it elsewhere in The BahamasThere are many ways to have fun in Nassau, but if you want to have the most fun possible, you must carefully plan your day. If you have a family, you need to consider their thoughts, because if you do not, arguments can start, which can ruin everyone’s day. You cannot go wrong if you plan a day of shopping, fun on the beach, snorkeling, and a great meal at a restaurant. You should start your fun filled day at any beach in Nassau; to get there, you have to use a water taxi. A water taxi is great to use, but it has one problem; the driver will not move until the taxi is completely filled, so keep this mind. If you want to get to the beach without waiting, only use a taxi that is half-full, this way when you take your seat, you will not have to wait as long. There is another option if you do not want to wait for a taxi to fill, just use the ferry. The ferry is timed, and it leaves every 30 minutes, so if you ride it, you can start your day of fun without any delays. If you get to the beach early, you can watch the ships in the distance as they sail in the clear water. After a few hours, you may want to try some physical activities; you can play a sport such as football with your family or a game of Frisbee with a friend. You can also have a beach party; you just need some music, drinks, and some snacks. Sports and parties are fun; however, if you want to try something that you will remember, you should defiantly go snorkeling. |

Snorkeling is awesome; however, Nassau’s waters do not offer much to see, so move slightly further afield - just a short way up the coast. If you explore the waters, you will not find many animals or plants because boats and construction have killed most of them. If you search far out in the ocean; however, you may find something, but it is not worth your time. You will have more fun if you visit Sea Gardens because you can go snorkeling there or take on a boat tour of the area. There are many colorful fish to see, and after you finish snorkeling, you can relax on the local beach. This beach is not for everyone because it has no bars, grills, or restrooms, which will be a problem if you have small kids. Sea Gardens should be visited only for snorkeling or the tour, if you want more services while on a beach, you should visit Wyndlham. Wyndlham is located on Cable Beach, and unlike the other beaches, this area has a pool service, which offers drinks, so it is worth checking out if you have the time. After you finish your fun day at the beach, you can end your day by shopping some of Nassau’s stores and eating at a restaurant. All of the stores are worth a visit, but when you choose a restaurant, pick Senior Frogs because their food is great. Nassau is stretched along the northern coast of New Providence, Bahamas. The city is compact and easy to leisurely explore on foot. As you stroll the city, absorb the colonial history and allow time to look for bargains in the shops and straw markets. Take a walk down Bay Street to the Queen's Staircase and a visit to Fort Fincastle and Fort Charlotte before concluding at the Ardastra Gardens Find the best deal, compare prices and read what other travelers have to say at TripAdvisor |
