Bahamas - Preparing for Atlantis Water Park

Visiting the Atlantis Water Park in the Bahamas is fun, but you have to go prepared. When your kids have the right accessories, they will remain safe the entire time they are there.

The water park in Atlantis gets tons of visitors every summer; however, many people do not arrive prepared. Although it is a fun place for kids, everyone still has to show up with the proper gear. It is possible to have fun without the gear, but there is a slight chance that someone will be injured. Your kids will want to have a great day of fun without injuries; you can make this happen by bringing the right items.

Water shoes are one of the most important items you can buy for your kids. Water shoes will prevent them from slipping and falling while running to a ride. One kid at Atlantis was having a fun day enjoying the rides; however, he did not have on water shoes. When the boy decided to run up the stairs, he slipped down and cut his head. His day of fun was ruined because he was not wearing water shoes at the park. Some kids are more clumsy than others; however, it still helps to be safe. Preventing your kids from falling is not the only helpful thing a pair of water shoes can do.

Wearing water shoes also protect kids' feet from the scorching hot pavement. Some kids think that hopping will keep their feet safe; however, frequent contact will hurt their feet overtime. The sun in the Bahamas is blazing hot during the summer; the pavement might get so hot that someone could fry an egg. Generally, your kids will spend most of their time in the water while at the park. Your kids need to be equipped with the right gear while in the water as well.

If your kids wear contacts, you might want to purchase some goggles so they will not fall out in the pool. The other kids can sometime be wild; they might start playing some very aggressive games. If someone throws a ball at your kid's face, the contacts may fall out. If your kid's contacts come out in the swimming pool, you will not be able to find them. Buying your kid a pair of goggle is a great idea; the contacts will stay in his or her eyes, which save you money. Speaking of money, you will need some if you plan to eat while at the pool area. If you plan to join your kids in the swimming pool or on the rides, no one will be able to watch your cash. There is a way to solve this problem, and there is a way to get a meal without having cash as well.

The simplest way to keep your money safe is to buy a small waterproof pouch from a Bahamas sports store. You can put your cash and your room key into the pouch and then go swimming with it. Your items will stay dry, and you will be happy knowing that your stuff is safe. If you prefer to leave you items at the hotel, you can just ask the staff to charge the lunch to the room bill.

Atlantis Water Park in the Bahamas is a cool place for kids, but they have to have the right gear to be safe. Water shoes will keep your kids stable while running and goggle will keep their contacts protected. You should prepare yourself as well; a pouch is a great way to protect your stuff if you plan to go swimming with your kids

Easy access to The Bahamas is one reason for its long-standing popularity as a winter holiday destination. Only a few miles from the south Florida coast, in fact closer than Caribbean destinations, the islands can be reached quickly either by air or by sea.

The Bahama Islands temperatures rarely drop below 60 degrees F, or rise above 90 degrees F. Most of the rain fall occurs in the summer months. The sea temperature ranges from the low 80's in the summer to about 74 degrees F in the winter
